Description	About the role: Beyond the pandemic San Remo has the exciting opportunity to continue to expand its operations and further enhance the production team. In this role you will be responsible for operating production/ packaging machines. Your responsibilities will include: Independently operating food processing machinery whilst still acting as part of a team; Ensuring product quality through high attention to detail and quality testing; Troubleshooting and problem solving; Assisting other operators to ensure the team completes all production schedules on time; General and periodical plant and equipment cleaning; Completing paperwork accurately, neatly and consistently throughout every shift; General food processing and packaging. San Remo conducts 24-hour operations, so you must be willing to perform shift work on a weekly rotation of day, afternoon and night shifts, with overtime required when production is busy. Qualifications / Criteria	The successful candidates will need a high level of mechanical aptitude and experience in an highly automated food production environment, utilising PLC technology is preferred. Operating state of the art equipment, your duties will include; setting machines, minor machine repair, quality control, working on various manufacturing lines and general cleaning. Ideally you will have: The ability to work autonomously or as part of a team; A punctual and reliable nature; A good level of computer literacy; Demonstrated previous shift work experience.
