Overview As an Apprentice at San Remo you will be trained in a wide range of maintenance skills and tasks to maintain automated packaging and processing machines, including our robots, motors and gearboxes. The role of a Mechanical Fitter is extremely diverse, no day is the same as the last. Working within our maintenance department you will support our operational areas by being involved in:

  • Preventative maintenance;
  • Commissioning of new equipment;
  • Fabrication and installation projects;
  • Repairs and troubleshooting.

Qualifications
/ Criteria		 We are seeking mechanically minded and self motivated people who have either undertaken a related Pre-Vocational course or have achieved good passes in Math’s, Science and/or Tech Studies in Yr 11 or 12 to become an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter with our operations based at Windsor Gardens.
