About the role:

An opportunity exists at our manufacturing site in Windsor Gardens for a Maintenance Shift Fitter with experience in FMCG manufacturing. In this role you will use your fault finding skills and your general maintenance experience to ensure that our automated processing and packaging equipment is operating efficiently.

You will be responsible for:

  • Preventative maintenance and routine adjustments
  • Troubleshooting and rectifying breakdowns
  • General workshop repairs

This role offers great opportunity to grow beyond the role and challenge yourself to grow within a big organisation with many job prospects

About you:

We are ideally seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter with:

  • FMCG manufacturing experience;
  • Fault finding skills with automated packaging machinery, mixers, extruders and ovens;
  • Experience working with pneumatic systems and boilers;
  • Experience with conveyors, chain drives, gearboxes and motors
  • Experience in preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and breakdowns;

This role involves a high degree of autonomy and the opportunity to work in a dynamic and driven manufacturing environment where no day is the same.

Full on the job training will be provided.

This role will require regular shift work and overtime across day / afternoon and night shifts, as well as weekend work and call-outs.
